Ellie Williams is new to Odyssey and to Georgia as well. Having moved here from Texas in 2016, she currently resides in Newnan with her family. Her youngest daughter is in Ms. Brown’s first grade class. Ellie is thrilled to join the PTO and serve alongside her fellow members. Ellie’s children range in age: 26, 23, 6 and 3! If you ask her what her greatest attribute is, she says being a mom. Their family motto is to invest in your children and the community to make the world a better place. Ellie’s husband, Davis, coaches their son’s soccer team. Ellie is also the room mom for their son’s preschool class. Outside of motherhood, Ellie enjoys DIY projects, crafts, gardening, sports, shopping, the beach and making memories with her family. She and her family are members of Southside Community Church, where she serves in Waumba Land of course. Her love of children is everywhere.
Cindy Rohrbaugh is happily married to her husband, Chad, and they have two beautiful children. Her youngest is an Odyssey scholar. Cindy wishes to be a part of the growth in education and prosperity offered to her child at Odyssey. She has taught dance to children of all ages since she was a teen herself and enjoys working with youth. In her free time, she makes custom wire-wrapped jewelry and spends quality time with family. Music has had a huge impact on the Rohrbaugh family. With Cindy being a singer/lyricist and her husband a musician, their need to write and produce music has been inevitable. They co-own a recording studio together, Rohr Sound Studio. They are also studying sound design for visual media and are a part of Resonant rock band. Cindy is also involved in praise and worship ministries. She believes in serving her community and will continue to contribute her time to valuable causes.
Karen Slade and her family have been part of the Odyssey family since the 2017-2018 school year. She is happily married to her husband, Xavier, and they have three children: Brianna, Jordyn, and Preston. Her parents were very involved with her school activities while she was growing up, so it is was a given that she would want to do the same for her children. She is very excited to see what this school year has in store!
Melissa’s daughter, Dahlia, started kindergarten at Odyssey in the 2018-2019 school year. She and her husband, Wade, are both artists. She wishes to help out in any way possible at Odyssey for many years to come and brings good organizational skills and persistence to the table! She enjoys being in the great outdoors, reading and tea.
Katie joined the Odyssey family when her son started kindergarten in the 2017-2018 school year. Now, both of her children are Odyssey scholars. She is a stay-at-home mom and wife to her husband, Rob. She is looking forward to planning fun events and activities for all the scholars at Odyssey and to raising money for the classrooms too. It is her honor and privilege to serve on the PTO Board as Treasurer.
